When we claim to be country fans, we’re not just talking about Dolly, Hank, Willie, and all the other outlaws. We love the Nashville radio bohunks and pop-crossover starlets as well. You don’t own as many KISS shirts as we do and then get to act real snobby about a little razzle dazzle. Also, when we say “country,” we mean… a lot of things. We mean alt country, Americana, cowpunk, roots, and every other twanging thing under the sun. Basically, as the Blasters put it, we love American Music. And, like it or not, America has A LOT. And that’s the case we’re making. We’re still America’s Only Rock 'n' Roll Magazine but, like the cattle barons we are, we want it all. Because that’s the nice thing about rock 'n' roll. It’s whatever we say it is.
