By the time you read this, Prince’s new movie, Under The Cherry Moon, will undoubtedly be a box office blockbuster. This assumption is based on Prince’s first movie, Purple Rain, a hugely successful film that also coincided with a soundtrack album and extensive tour. By now, Prince isn’t new to the movie business—he’s already a pro! And so far his track record in movies has been near-perfect. The new movie is a story about a pianist named Christopher, played by Prince himself, and—naturally—there’s a love interest as well. The movie was filmed in the south of France, a location Prince enjoyed so much he reportedly purchased a second home there.
