Last night's party got you feeling like this morning's leftovers—stale and a bit green around the edges? Hey, don't sweat it. If you can swallow this news you can certainly swallow the Alka Seltzer: Toni Tennille (the living half of Captain & Tennille) has concluded arrangements to star in a daily talk show to begin airing in September. You gotta say one thing for her—she's bound to do a better cover of "Satisfaction" than Dinah Shore ... Besides the E.R. A., what does a girl want more than anything else? To star in her own movie, of course, and Britt Ekland is set to do just that. When the cameras roll in January, Rod Stewart's ex will be taking the lead in Super Groupie, a flick which (according to producer Don Arden) "will portray the real tragedy of the groupies, who fall into the world of rock and are often dragged down. It will be very dramatic ... it will be factual." Whatever memories Britt chooses to add to the plot, we think she should know that Rod is now saying he's still head-over-heels in love with her and should've married her when he had the chance (hey, Rona doesn't lie!). So where does thatleave his current sweetie, Alana Hamilton? Apparently on her way to being another Rod 'n' roll casualty. Sez Stewart: "I'm not taking old ladies on tours anymore. They get in the way of everything." We don't doubt it... Speaking of love gone bad, Blanca Jagger has definitely withdrawn her divorce suit against hubby Mick. Although she insists there'll be no reconciliation, she has gone ahead and set her sights on the more traditional kind of "royalty", namely John Bowes Lyon, a cousin of the Queen. But don't expect to see Bianca sitting around mooning over her love life—David Carradine has grabbed her as leading lady for his upcoming Mandate in Heaven flick. Rumor also has it that she will be signing a Casablanca recording contract in the not-too-distant future ... Is Twiggy getting tubby? Oh my, yes, but for a very good reason—she and hubby Michael Witney are expecting the arrival of their first bundle of noise any second now ... And while we're on the subject of expectations, Don Henley of the Eagles is eagerly awaiting the completion of the new Roger Moore film, Moonraker—not because he's a 007 fan, but because co-star Lois Chiles has promised to marry Don as soon as the movie is wrapped up ... Nuptial congrats also go out to Jim "Spiders & Snakes" Stafford and Bobbie Gentry, who tied the knot in October...
