THE KISS PHILOSOPHY

“Being in Kiss means to me that I’ve made it. I'm a star Playing the Garden was something!”

September 2, 1977

PETER—“Being in Kiss means to me that I’ve made it. I'm a star Playing the Garden was something! And I like to do things right, the way I like to see a rock band put on a show, where you don’t come out and set up your drums, but you let a roadie do it. I don't think stars should be setting up their own equipment, that’s not what I want to see from the audience.

ACE—“I’m here because I always wanted to be a star and always knew I would be one Plus being a star allows me to buy luxuries I couldn’t afford before: jewelry, nicer clothes, lots of guitars If it wasn't for the fact that I got into music, I d probably be hanging out on street corners.’”
